The Language of Sacred Geometry: Mandalas & Universal Proportions
Exploring how ancient mathematical patterns, Fibonacci spirals, and radial balance transform the human body into a harmonious sanctuary.

Sacred geometry is not a modern aesthetic trend; it is the universal blueprint of nature itself. From the spiral of a nautilus shell and the unfolding petals of a rose to galactic orbits, the universe operates through mathematical ratios.
When translating these principles into tattooing, the human anatomy becomes the compass and ruler.
The Power of the Mandala
Originating from the Sanskrit word for "circle," a mandala represents wholeness, balance, and the cyclical nature of life. When placed on joints like the elbow or shoulder, the mandala contracts and expands in sync with your movement, giving the illusion of a living, breathing mechanical portal.
Metatron’s Cube & The Flower of Life
The Flower of Life consists of multiple overlapping circles arranged in a hexagonal symmetry. Within its geometry lies Metatron’s Cube, containing the five Platonic Solids — the fundamental geometric building blocks of matter.
In my private studio sessions in Dublin, I never replicate mass-market flash designs. We analyze the muscular landscape of each client to calculate focal anchors, ensuring that line weights and dotwork gradients flow effortlessly across the body.
